HUW WILLIAMS
BSc MSc FGSHailing from the heart of the Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape World Heritage Site, Huw brings to bear a life-long passion for all things geological, along with his experience in the regulatory and private consultancy sectors to all aspects of his work. Huw’s main areas of experience are in groundwater impact assessment and groundwater resource management, utilising strong skills in site investigation data analysis and interpretation for groundwater conceptual and numerical modelling.
Huw has gained specialist global experience in the evaluation of the impact on groundwater due to the operation of Ground Source Heat Pump systems using coupled groundwater flow and heat transport numerical modelling in addition to assessment of dewatering and depressurisation. Conceptual modelling of complex systems has been achieved through a pragmatic approach, leading to the appropriate and proportioned construction and running of numerical groundwater models.
